Record-breaking – German driver stopped with 5.2 per mille

Date:

In the German state of Baden-Württemberg, which borders Vorarlberg, a 48-year-old driver caused a record-breaking – but worrying – incident on Tuesday night. During a police check, the driver turned out to be 5.2 (!) per mil under the influence of alcohol!

The police pulled a heavily drunk driver off the road in Villingen-Schwenningen (Black Forest) on Monday evening around 11:30 pm. Another motorist noticed the unsafe driving style of a woman with a VW Passat and therefore called the police.

They were able to find a heavily intoxicated 48-year-old behind the wheel of the car. An alcohol test performed on her showed a value of more than 5.2 per mille. A doctor examined the woman and took a blood sample from her, with police withholding her driver’s license. Relatives picked up the drunkard and took her home.
