The standard, known as the ‘Iceta Act’, states that: before June 1 each administration had to determine the number of places it would offer in this stabilization process. “As you know, this law set very specific conditions for stabilization, and we already had PPOs underway. It was a great job and a big change for the Provincial Council,” he admitted.

The regional spokeswoman wanted “to emphasize the attitude that all parties have had during the negotiation process”. “We are earlier a complex process that affects many people, so it’s a very sensitive issue. The Diputación has been flexible from the start and the technical staff of the public function has worked in an extraordinary way in that sense, worthy of praise. From here on I want to thank the whole team,” he said.

He also wanted to thank the unions for the “open attitude” they maintained throughout the process. This attitude has made it possible to agree with the trade union majority for this first phase of the OPE. As revealed, ELA voted in favor (8 representatives), LAB (9 representatives) and Bazkuna (5 representatives) abstained and CC. OO. voted against (6 representatives). “We will also continue to give continuity to this collaboration in the following phases,” said Mendoza.
