A bus driver in Achenkirch found himself in a more than unfortunate situation. He parked his car at the Klammbachbrücke stop on Christmas Eve. Then there was a shock Wednesday morning: the vehicle went over the edge of the road and threatened to fall into the lake.
Bus has been successfully recovered
Without further ado, the driver called a towing company and the snow plow driver. They arrived and were able to free the multi-ton vehicle from the predicament and pull it back onto the road.
The Achenseestrasse was completely closed for a short time during the rescue work. No one was injured.
