In Müllendorf (Eisenstadt area) there was a fire operation on Friday afternoon: a fire broke out in containers with electronic waste in a storage area. The alerted fire brigades were able to quickly extinguish the fire. No one was injured.
It was initially not known why a fire suddenly broke out in the containers. According to the Burgenland State Fire Command, the company’s employees responded well and have already brought the fire under control. A total of twelve containers caught fire.
The fire brigades of Müllendorf, Eisenstadt, Neufeld, Großhöflein and Rust were able to quickly extinguish the fire. Fortunately, no one was injured. In addition to 70 firefighters, the police and the Red Cross were also on site.
