Incredible incident in Mühlviertel (Upper Austria). A motorist was driving in Haslach when a tree suddenly fell under the heavy weight of the snow and fell on the moving car. A branch pierced the windshield.
The 32-year-old from Haslach was driving her car on Tuesday around 10.15 am on Magerlmühlstraße L 1550, coming from the B 38 towards the train station. Just then, due to snow pressure, a tree suddenly fell onto the road from the right side of the road and hit the passing car driven by the 32-year-old.
The driver was uninjured
A branch from the fallen tree pierced the windshield and entered the driver’s cabin. The Rohrbach fire brigade removed the tree trunk and cleared the road – the vehicle was towed away. Despite the accident, the driver was uninjured.
