That could have been even worse: at the time of the accident there were 38 people on the bus in Wels, most of them children. Although seven people were injured, fortunately the injuries were not too serious: a 20-year-old and a child were taken to hospital for outpatient treatment.

The bus was on Hans-Sachs-Strasse in Wels on Wednesday afternoon around 1:15 p.m. There were 30 children and eight adults inside.

The bus driver, a 55-year-old Kosovar from Wels, drove the vehicle into an intersection, as did a 54-year-old Hungarian with his articulated vehicle. A collision then occurred at the intersection. The exact cause of the accident has not yet been clarified.

Seven passengers were injured

However, the consequences were: Seven passengers on the bus were slightly injured in the accident, including six children: a seven-year-old and a ten-year-old boy and four girls (aged six, eight, nine and ten). old).

Fortunately: only one child had to be taken to hospital for outpatient treatment, just like a 20-year-old woman from Wels.

The intersection was difficult to navigate in this area for about two hours.
