An 18-year-old reveler from Upper Austria wanted to walk home from the company Christmas party, but the drunk boy didn’t get far. Just 500 meters from the party location, the 18-year-old lay down on a pile of snow and fell asleep. At 6 a.m. he was found unconscious by a worker.
An 18-year-old from Sankt Marien attended a Christmas party in Kematen an der Krems on the night of Thursday to Friday. From there he probably went home on foot, where he lay down on a pile of snow about 500 meters from the Christmas party and fell asleep.
No longer responding
Shortly before 6 a.m. on his way to work, a 31-year-old local resident happened to notice the man sleeping on the side of the road, provided first aid together with two other residents and called the emergency services. The 18-year-old, who was unresponsive at any time, was taken to Kepler University Hospital.
