A 21-year-old driver from Lembach (Upper Austria) skidded on an icy road in Altenfelden on Sunday morning and ended up in a stream bed. Firefighters freed her from the wrecked car, but the woman suffered minor injuries.
The 21-year-old was driving her car on Sunday around 5 a.m. on Falkensteinstrasse, L584, coming from Altenfelden towards Lembach. At kilometer 1.9 in the municipality of Altenfelden, her car skidded through the slippery snow in a long left bend. It left the road and came to rest in an adjacent stream bed.
Taxiler noticed an accident
A passing taxi driver noticed the accident and called the emergency services. The 21-year-old was slightly injured and was taken by ambulance to the Rohrbach Clinic after first aid.
