Strange accident in Linz: A driver suddenly turned his vehicle to the right for an unknown reason. He then crashed into three parked cars before his car overturned. However, drugs and alcohol were not involved.
On Monday around 3:30 p.m., the 34-year-old from Linz drove his car into the city center on Makartstrasse in Linz. According to witness accounts, for an unknown reason he suddenly steered his vehicle to the right and crashed into three properly parked vehicles on the right side of the road.
Car overturned
After striking the first parked vehicle, he drove into the rear of the second parked vehicle and was thrown to the side by the impact, causing his car to come to a stop on the left side of the vehicle. The driver and his partner were able to get out of the overturned car under their own power. Both occupants were taken to hospital with minor injuries. Alcohol and drugs were not involved.
The accident vehicle was repositioned by the professional fire brigade of Linz (BF). The accident caused a brief traffic disruption.
