Shortly after 8 a.m. on Friday, a spectacular incident took place in the Neubaustrasse district of the municipality of Rum. A 19-year-old resident said he was robbed there. An unknown man chased him and eventually grabbed him by the neck from behind and demanded money.
The victim gave the perpetrator 135 euros. The unknown man fled.
Police with description of the perpetrator
The perpetrator is said to be a man between 30 and 40 years old. He was about 190 centimeters tall, had a light complexion and spoke broken German with an accent. He also wore a black winter coat and dark jeans, glasses with round lenses, a black winter hat and a dark, short beard.
