New Year’s Eve in cabins – Why love of tranquility survives even an outhouse

Date:

The real estate portal Hüttenland from Angath in the Tyrolean lowlands offers 130 properties. The operators Hans Sprenger and Barbara Haselberger talk about trends and prices around the New Year – and why the desire for peace and quiet even surpasses the lack of electricity. The “Krone” gives tips to make your cabin holiday a success.

Watching fireworks and fondue in a Tyrolean mountain hut is the dream of many holidaymakers. “It can take a year and a half before you can rent the cabin you want; we maintain waiting lists,” says Barbara Haselberger, marketing manager at Hüttenland. Only a few “slow sellers” are free: objects that can only be reached on foot or where there is no view (of the fireworks on New Year’s Eve).
