Unknown vandals caused extensive damage in the Tyrolean winter sports resort of St. Anton am Arlberg from Wednesday to Thursday. They smeared house walls, fences and road signs with blue paint. The police assume that the perpetrators were Swedish football fans.
The reason for this assumption is clear: the unknown vandals have defaced the facades, fences and signs along the road Nassereinerstrasse and St. Jakober Dorfstrasse with signs and letters of the Swedish football club Malmö FF.
The police are hoping for information from witnesses
The extent of the material damage caused cannot yet be quantified. There is currently no trace of the perpetrators. To investigate the vandals Any witnesses who may have spotted such persons/fans are asked to contact police.
