Car roof on company roof – this is how a traffic accident ended in the Vorarlberg municipality of Vandans on the night from Friday to Saturday. A 27-year-old drove his car off the road on his way home, overturned and landed on the roof of a commercial building. An alcohol test was positive.
At 12:10 p.m., a 27-year-old was driving home on Vandanser Ladritschweg.
According to the police, for an unknown reason the vehicle left the road in a bend to the left, drove over a ten-meter high, steep embankment and came to a stop on a commercial roof.
Prisoners were able to free themselves
The two occupants of the car were able to free themselves from the car and were unharmed in the accident. The now alerted Vandans fire brigade, which arrived with four vehicles and 30 Florianis, carried out safety measures on the company roof so that the accident car could be recovered by a towing company using a crane.
