It was a happy coincidence that there was no one at the front door or behind it. The inn in St. Roman near Schärding was open when a car ‘bumped’ into the wall. The damage is extensive and alcohol was not the cause of the accident.
A VW, driven by a 64-year-old local driver, rammed into the entrance of the local inn in St. Roman near Schärding. He may have had health problems behind the wheel and therefore lost control of the car.
The inn was open, luckily there were no people at the entrance. The driver was also unharmed. However, the material damage is extensive: a pole was torn away, as well as a small boundary wall, and the door and wall were also damaged.
