There was a violent argument between two men in Vienna-Ottakring in the early morning hours on New Year’s Day. One of the two even became unconscious.
Shortly before 6 a.m., the argument between the 28-year-old and the 44-year-old escalated in a bar on the Lerchenfelder Belt. According to police, both had violently attacked each other. When the 44-year-old became unconscious shortly after the attack, witnesses immediately alerted police.
28 year old arrested
When officers arrived, the 28-year-old was arrested at the scene. The 44-year-old was taken to hospital with head injuries.
The suspect has partially confessed. This is followed by a report of suspected physical injury.
