Not only the Russian army, but also the terrorist organization Hamas is said to be using North Korean weapons. This was reported by the South Korean secret service, which published a photo of an F-7 bazooka.
This is said to have been made in North Korea and used by Hamas. The markings on the detonator are therefore in Korean. The National Intelligence Service (NIS) has also confirmed reports from US media about possible arms deliveries from North Korea to Hamas. Concrete evidence is still being gathered on the size and timing of the deliveries, the report said. For example, the broadcaster Voice of America (VOA) reported last week that it had received the photos of the North Korean bazooka through diplomatic channels.
In principle, reports of a possible arms deal between Hamas and the one-party state ruled by ruler Kim Jong-un have been around for some time (see video above). The North Korean government has so far denied that domestic weapons were used in the terrorist attack by Hamas and other extremist groups on Israel on October 7. This attack led to the war in the Gaza Strip.
UN resolutions ban arms exports
UN resolutions ban North Korea’s arms exports. The question is whether the government will adhere to this. In any case, not only the US and South Korea, but also the Israeli forces had stated that they had seized North Korean weapons in the Gaza Strip since the start of the war.
As reported, the North Korean government under Kim recently supplied rocket launchers and several ballistic missiles to Russia for the war in Ukraine.
