Horrible scenes took place on Sunday evening in an apartment in Vienna-Floridsdorf. Suspecting that her boyfriend was cheating on her, a woman panicked and forcibly detained the 18-year-old in his apartment. When the grandfather wanted to come to the young woman’s aid, the man even took out the hammer. The police had to intervene.
It was around 8:15 p.m. when the 18-year-old wanted to leave her boyfriend’s apartment. However, he allegedly blocked the woman’s path, grabbed her by the neck, pushed her to the ground and threatened her with a kitchen knife.
Police warned by grandfather
Because the victim had informed the grandfather earlier, he stood at the door of the 18-year-old’s apartment a short time later to pick up his granddaughter. The friend allegedly threatened to kill the man through the closed door of the apartment. The young woman’s grandfather then alerted the police…
Friend held hammer in hand
The frightened 18-year-old eventually managed to leave the apartment until emergency services arrived. In the stairwell, the officers also met the friend who was holding a hammer. He resisted attempts to have the hammer taken from him – he was eventually arrested.
According to police, the suspect denied the threats during interrogation. He was generally reported.
