French President Emmanuel Macron has promised this “order and more authority” of the state, in the schools and on the streets to relaunch his mandate, which was mired in great unpopularity.

The French president has also said the government will take action to ensure “the correct use” of devices with screens by children, “both at home and at school.”

Macron has one closed defense of his Minister of Education, Amélie Oudéa-Castéra, after having to apologize for explaining why she took her son out of a public school to take him to a private school. Oudéa-Castéra assured that he had to enroll his son in the private school because in the public center there were many hours in which the teacher failed without being replaced.
