A family from Salzburg is desperately searching for their beloved ‘Winnie’. Although living in a refuge with a protection agreement, the Haflinger was secretly resold. Those responsible remain silent about the horse’s whereabouts.
A family from Salzburg is currently experiencing the bad thing with side horses. Although given to a supposedly reputable shelter in December 2022 with a protection agreement and right of first refusal, the Haflinger gelding, born on May 15, 2004, was resold. At first everything seemed fine, the family even received photos of “Winnie” that the horse was doing very well.
Then in September 2023 the shock. There was a call on Facebook asking if anyone had given their horse to this shelter. They immediately called and were told that “Winnie” had been sold.
Who has clues?
It was also not stated where. After Facebook searches and much sympathy, ‘Winnie’ remains missing. The last sign of life was in May 2023 on a family farm in the municipality of Petersbaumgarten (Lower Austria). Who knows anything about the whereabouts of “Winnie”?
