An alcohol-fuelled attack during a Perchten run in the Melk district (Lower Austria) has now ended in court. “She scratched my face until it bled,” the victim said.
The aftermath of a happy Perchten run in mid-November last year ended for a young couple at the regional court in St. Pölten. Having ‘fuelled’ at just under two per mille, they had both used their fists – and fingernails – to both speak and speak. And several people were injured, including several special police forces.
Desert insults
Because when the 22-year-old discovered an acquaintance in the toilet queue at a later time, there was a rain of insults instead of a greeting for the 29-year-old. “I was pulled to the ground by the hood and then punched in the face by her boyfriend. “Then she scratched my face until it was bloody,” the victim said in court.
Police officers injured
With a lot of potential for aggression, the powerful couple continued happily. Even the alarmed officers could not calm the two down. Worse still, the 22-year-old resisted arrest by screaming and kicking. Her lover also did not want to accept her arrest and tried to free his beloved. The result was bruises and a bent finger for the officers.
Due to heavy drinking, the violent young woman and her boyfriend have gaps in their memories. The trial was postponed.
