Movie-worthy scenes took place in the Innviertel (Upper Austria) on Thursday morning: an 18-year-old drove his car off the right side of the road, drove over a driveway and then sailed 15 meters through the air. He was injured to an unknown degree.
The 18-year-old from Helpfau-Uttendorf was driving his brother’s Audi A4 on the B142 from Uttendorf towards Mauerkirchen around 8 a.m. on Thursday.

For an unknown reason he left the road to the right and drove along the driveway into the adjacent field. His car then took off, sailed about 50 feet through the air and came to a stop in a meadow after about 100 feet.
Treatment refused
The young driver was injured to an unknown extent in the accident, but refused to be taken to hospital.
