Since mid-November, two tenants at Obkirchergasse 10 in Vienna’s 19th district have had to live without heating or hot water. One is the pensioner Albert Fröhlich (77), the other his neighbor. It is uncomfortably cold in Fröhlich’s apartment, an ice-cold stream comes from the tap.
Because the riser in the apartment complex did not pass the leak test, the gas was quickly turned off on November 13. To date, the broken gas outlet has not been repaired. The courts are now also concerned about why this is the case.
