47.2% of the inhabitants of Euskadi and Navarra have changed some consumption habit as a result of the price increases caused by the Russian invasion of Ukraine, according to the 27th issue of EITB FOCUS, the EITB group’s macro survey.
Tomorrow, Monday, EITB will publish the first part of the voting intent survey with one year to go before the 2023 municipal and regional elections.
71.2% of people acknowledge that the war in Ukraine has affected them quite or a lot, and with an intensity of 7.2 out of 10.
In addition, almost 2 in 3 respondents believe that this price crisis situation, caused by the invasion, will last more than a year.
Finally, regarding the shortage of products, 80% of those surveyed did not notice that it has affected them in a product they have consumed before.
Methodology:
The methodology used for the preparation of this study is quantitative, using the telephone interview technique.
This research technique makes it possible to respond to all proposed objectives and to obtain results with a maximum validity and reliability with which to act effectively.
The population constituting the universe of study is made up of the group of people aged 18 or over, inhabitants of the CAV and Navarre, who will carry out the fieldwork from May 2 to 12, 2022.
A stratified sample was carried out, with quotas determined proportionally, also using a quantitative method.

2,400 people living in the CAV and Navarre (400 in Vitoria-Gasteiz and 150 in the rest of Araba; 400 in Bilbao and 200 in the rest of Bizkaia; 400 in Donostia-San Sebastián and 200 in the rest of Gipuzkoa; 400 in Pamplona /Iruñea and 250 in the rest of Navarre).

23.0% of the surveys were conducted in Basque and the remaining 77.0% in Spanish.
Total results weighted by population size of the surveyed municipalities.
The fieldwork was conducted from 2 to 12 May 2022 by means of a telephone interview.
The average length of the survey was 5.42′, with the shortest survey being 4′ and the longest 18′.
