According to official information, two volunteers from France have been killed by Russian shelling in the Kherson region of southern Ukraine.
“Three more foreigners were slightly injured,” military governor Olexander Prokudin announced on Thursday.
The small town of Beryslaw was shelled. A Ukrainian helper was also injured.
The Ukrainians only liberated Beryslaw from Russian occupation in the fall of 2022 as part of their counter-offensive. However, Beryslav is located on the banks of the Dnipro River, which is the front line at this point. That is why the city is regularly shelled from the Russian side.
