1.5 per mille – man threatened to kill his girlfriend

On Thursday evening there was an argument between a 49-year-old and his 60-year-old partner in Vienna-Penzing. He broke open a door and threatened to kill her.

Around 10 p.m. on Thursday, the situation escalated in an apartment in the Penzing district when a 49-year-old man, who was under the influence of alcohol, got into an argument with his 60-year-old partner. During the argument, the man allegedly broke a glass door and threatened to kill his partner. The woman then immediately alerted the police.

Arrest and weapons ban
Police officers from the Wurmsergasse police station quickly arrived on the scene and were able to arrest the aggressive and extremely uncooperative 49-year-old. During the arrest, the officers noted that the suspect had a breath alcohol content of 1.5 per mille. As a result, he was imposed an entry and approach ban and a temporary weapons ban to prevent further potential dangers.
