After the community death drama in Vienna-Floridsdorf, there is at least some financial comfort for the mother and her six half-orphans. Our “Krone” readers donated a total of 21,366 euros for the family.
With his death jump from the Schlingerhof in Floridsdorf, a sick Viennese man (48) plunged his widow and six children into an emotional abyss two weeks ago. Since then, Susanne B., mother of the half-orphan, has taken care of her children. “Sometimes there is a lot of crying, sometimes I can quickly comfort her,” says the 38-year-old Viennese.
Donated more than 21,300 euros
Thanks to the generous donations from many Krone readers, she has now gathered some courage. Sympathetic people deposited more than 21,300 euros into the donation account of former district councilor Hans Jörg Schimanek.

Susanne B. seems calm when transferring money. “Even though I feel like it, I can’t cry with the kids. “I manage to be strong on the outside, but on the inside it’s different,” she says. “Please thank all donors. We received a lot of help.”
