At least one person was killed in overnight Russian attacks on Selydove. According to the Ukrainian governor, seven others were injured. The city has been ravaged for months and the situation is becoming increasingly difficult.
“The enemy is exerting pressure from all sides,” Mayor Vitali Barabasch said on Thursday. Many Russian troops would try to capture Selydove. At least one person was killed and seven others were injured in the latest attack. A total of 53 high-rise buildings, 10 private residential buildings and 24 vehicles were damaged, Ukrainian Governor of the Donetsk Region Vadym Filashkin said.
Injuries were also reported in the Odessa and Avdiivka regions. It is now said that 941 people live in Adwidjiwka, compared to 32,000 before the start of the war. The Russian army has been trying to encircle the city since October. According to Ukrainian information, two police officers were injured by a drone in Odessa. They were on their way to the site after a drone strike when they were hit by a second one.
Missile and drone attack the day before
In addition, according to the Ukrainian Air Guard, a total of eleven of seventeen Russian combat drones were intercepted. Nevertheless, shocks and damage were reported, for example from Mykolaiv in the south and Vinnytsia in the center.
