Linz AG now draws the conclusions from the excitement surrounding a loud, alleged “Russian party” in the Hummelhof wellness oasis: private sauna parties are now prohibited.
“It is understandable that sauna guests outside the group involved felt disturbed and/or irritated by the individual birthday event. Lessons are learned from the event. In the future, no such accommodations or celebrations will take place in the sauna facilities of Linz AG,” said spokeswoman Susanne Gillhofer.
Regular guest wanted to celebrate his birthday
The organizer was a regular guest who had a birthday wish to perform a so-called “Banja ritual” and brought all the kitchen utensils. The sauna group agreed to perform the ten-minute sauna ritual including musical accompaniment. Now only heat gets sauna visitors going.
