With a bloody knife in his hand, a 44-year-old Bulgarian wandered drunkenly through the streets of Vienna-Ottakring on Friday. The police were able to arrest the man. It turned out that he had previously tried to rob a 26-year-old and then injured a 24-year-old with a knife.
Around 1 p.m., the Bulgarian suddenly threatened the 26-year-old with a pocket knife and demanded that he hand over money and valuables. The 24-year-old noticed the attempted robbery and rushed to help the victim.
An argument broke out between the 44-year-old and the 24-year-old, during which the younger man’s hand was injured by the knife.
Owner recovered stolen mobile phone
A stolen mobile phone was recovered from the Bulgarian. He claimed to have bought the phone from an unknown person a few days ago. The rightful owner was found and his mobile phone was returned.
An alcohol test was carried out on the 44-year-old and it turned out to be 1.1 per mille. The man was taken to a penitentiary.
