In Berlin, police officers were attacked during an unannounced Palestinian demonstration. The participants threw fireworks and stones at the emergency services.
The incident happened on Monday evening. In total, about 250 people took part in the meeting. Some of them threw fireworks at police officers on Sonnenallee and chanted ‘propagandistic slogans with criminal content’. The emergency services then asked the participants not to commit crimes – but in vain. The demonstration was broken up.

In Germany, crimes took place during pro-Palestinian rallies, especially in the first period after the Hamas attack on October 7 and the start of the Israeli military operation in the Gaza Strip. Anti-Semitic and hateful statements were made again and again. In some cases there were also violent riots.
