An extremely unusual hearing took place on Thursday at the court in Baden (Lower Austria): a 40-year-old farmer and her husband stood before the judge. How is that possible? The woman allegedly hit the 43-year-old with a metal-rubber scrubber after catching him red-handed having extramarital sex with a young milking assistant in the calf shed.
The woman actually only wanted to help the 43-year-old feed the calves on the evening of the incident. After opening the stable door, she stood “transfixed. I caught him red-handed. “It was like the ground was pulled out from under someone’s feet,” the 40-year-old said.
Children wanted to wish dad goodnight
“Reflexively” she had to stand in front of her two small children, who had accompanied her to the stable. “So they don’t have to see the sexual image. They both had their pants down,” the farmer said. The children wanted to wish their father good night.
Milk helper escaped from the stable after an incident
According to the farmer, the 21-year-old milk assistant fled the stable. She tried to run after her, but couldn’t catch her. Then she wanted to ‘confront’ the man…
According to her own statements, she did not grab the metal-rubber scrubber and hit her with it. She simply filled a bucket with water and poured it over her husband, after which he sprayed water into her eyes with a hose: “I blamed him. I was completely exhausted.”
The process is followed by a separation date
The now married couple no longer have anything to do with each other; the couple is divorcing. The divorce hearing is scheduled for Friday in court. The man who was injured according to the criminal case – photos of hematomas on his back are part of the case file – stated in the witness box that he had had a “one-off, short relationship” with the then 21-year-old agricultural specialist.
Hit in the head with a scrubber
“They had sex in the calf shed,” the judge intervened. “Yes. “It’s unique,” the 43-year-old replied, “We just finished. I just fastened my belt.” Then his wife opened the stable door and came in. She started screaming and hit his back and head ‘extremely’ with the mop: ‘She wouldn’t let me go.’
“The more I begged her to stop, the harder she hit me.” Finally he fell to the ground: ‘While I was on the ground, she spat on me and left.’
Headaches for months after a beating
Three months after the incident, the man continued to suffer from severe headaches related to a stroke. The pain also made it difficult for him to do his job – he resorted to painkillers. The farmer concluded by emphasizing that there had been no extramarital sexual relationship with the woman, who was 21 years younger than him: “It was a one-off.”
The detective allegedly obtained evidence
Lukas Kollmann, the farmer’s lawyer, is by no means convinced of this. He indicated that an investigator had obtained relevant evidence indicating an ongoing extramarital relationship, which is likely to be an issue in the divorce proceedings.
Amir Ahmed and Michael Dohr, the 43-year-old’s two legal representatives, had already requested a forensic medical report before the hearing. They wanted to emphasize that their client had suffered significant injuries at the hands of his ‘better half’. The judge accepted this request. The hearing was postponed indefinitely to obtain an expert opinion.
