Police in the Tyrolean Stubai Valley are looking for an unknown winter sports enthusiast who allegedly caused a skiing accident in the Schlick2000 ski area on Ash Wednesday, in which a 44-year-old was injured. He then apparently committed a hit-and-run crime.
Shortly before 2 p.m. in the afternoon, the German skied down the blue slope No. 1 and passed the intersection with the red slope No. 11. According to previous police findings, she was rammed from behind by a skier, causing them both to fall. The German was injured.
The unknown winter sports enthusiast – he was wearing red ski pants and a white helmet – is said to have then left the scene of the accident without providing first aid or disclosing his details. After initial care from the snow rescue team, the injured person was taken to the hospital in Hall in Tirol.
Police are now looking for the unknown skier. Any useful information regarding his identity should be sent to PI Fulmpes on 059133 7112.
