The World Cup of the Roller Derby takes place in Innsbruck from 3 to 6 July. Teams from all over the world will be on site, it will be played and celebrated. The “Tyrolean Krone” looked at what this sport is all about on the four roles.
If you are afraid of blue spots, you don’t even have to start with this full contact sport. Fortunately the “Fearless Bruisers”, the Roller Derby team of Innsbruck. They are also not afraid to bring the World Cup from the Roller Derby to Tyrol. They dominated against other teams of applicants, especially from the US, by and Innsbruck will be the international capital of the roller skate in July. 80 games are played by around 50 teams for four days. The teams travel from all over the world.
