A tram ride in Innsbruck ended in the hospital of a 49-year-old public transport user on Wednesday. When the tram had to brake because a car was driving away, the woman fell and was injured.
Around 2:40 p.m., the tram driver drove out of the city along Defreggerstrasse. At number 12 the man saw a car that was apparently about to leave a parking space. Because the man was not sure whether the person in the car had noticed the tram, he stopped.
What happened during the braking maneuver was that a 49-year-old passenger fell into the train. The woman was injured and had to be taken to the clinic in Innsbruck by the rescue team.
The police are looking for the driver of the car
To gain clarity, the police have launched a call for witnesses. The driver of the car is requested to report to the Innsbruck Traffic Inspectorate (059133 7591).
