Police officers became a life saver in Klagenfurt on Saturday morning. An 83-year-old sat motionless behind the wheel of his car and had to be resuscitated.
An emergency call to the state control center that a man on Pfarrplatz in Klagenfurt had circulatory problems alerted a police patrol. When police arrived on the scene, they found a man motionless behind the wheel of a parked car.
Successful resuscitation
The officers immediately rescued the 83-year-old from Klagenfurt from the vehicle and started CPR, which was then continued by the emergency services and an emergency doctor who arrived on the scene. After successful resuscitation, the man was taken to the Klagenfurt clinic by the rescue team.
