A senior member of Kremlin despot Vladimir Putin’s inner circle has now spoken out about the death of the Russian helicopter pilot, who was shot down after escaping into Spain. “The death of a dog for a dog,” said acting Security Council Vice-President Dmitry Medvedev, commenting on the brutal execution of the young deserter.
Former President Medvedev’s comment was posted on his Telegram channel. When asked whether it mattered by which hand 33-year-old pilot Maxim Kuzminov died, the Putin confidant replied briefly: “I said everything.”
For the Kremlin, the pilot was a ‘moral corpse’ after his defection
The head of Russia’s foreign secret service SWR had previously commented on Kuzminov’s death. “This traitor and criminal became a moral corpse the moment he planned his dirty and terrible crime,” Sergei Narishkin had said.
Russia wants to take Kiev
Medvedev also spoke about the next military plans in the invasion war against Ukraine. The plan is to capture the Ukrainian capital Kiev to “achieve the objectives of the special military operation.” “If not now, then at some point,” he added.
Medvedev justified the planned conquest of Kiev by saying it was a “Russian city.” Furthermore, the city poses “an international threat to the survival of the Russian Federation,” as Kiev is ruled “by an international brigade of Russian adversaries.”
“Odessa is our Russian city”
He also admitted that Russia had “long coveted” the metropolis of Odessa. “It is also our Russian city because of the history of this city, the kind of people who live there, the language they speak,” the former Kremlin chief said.
