A true “Viennese original” now had to answer charges of fraud and forgery of documents before the St. Pölten Regional Court. The 60-year-old received a suspended prison sentence of five months.
Four years of tireless efforts were made to bring a 60-year-old man to justice. But the Viennese simply did not want to answer the call to St. Pölten. Thanks to a police escort, the time had finally come and the man ended up in the dock for fraud and forgery.
During the negotiations, the former MA 48 employee did not hold back with his ‘open character’: ‘I don’t care about anything.’ Apparently he also did not have an outstanding bill for seven beers worth 21 euros at a sausage stall that had been located for four years. “I only function in the fat area,” he explains. He can no longer deny that shortly afterwards he wanted to identify himself in Purkersdorf with a fake Slovenian driving license.
Judge definitively
“Please no fine, I only eat potatoes with butter anyway,” said the defendant. So a suspended sentence of five months followed. His response: “It’s all because of a fake rag.”
