An incident occurred on Sunday evening during the performance of Mozart’s ‘The Abduction from the Seraglio’ at La Scala in Milan: a spectator was hit by a mobile phone.
During the second act, a smartphone fell from a meter-high box in the first row. The mobile phone hit a spectator in the cheek – but without serious consequences.
The performance of Giorgio Strehler’s historic production conducted by Thomas Guggeis was briefly interrupted. After the spectator was unharmed, things could continue.
Victim wants to file a report
Although the visitor escaped unscathed, he was extremely angry and told Italian media that he would keep the mobile phone until he found the owner and then report him.
