A 46-year-old from Bosnia and Herzegovina was driving a tractor-trailer in Klein St. Paul when he suddenly left the road…
The driver was driving on the Görtschitztal trunk road (B 92) around 4 p.m. when he left the road on the right shoulder and fell over the dike.
“He threw the tow vehicle and trailer over the embankment there and came to a stop on the right side of the vehicle,” said a police officer. A total of 27 emergency services from FF Wieting and Guttaring rescued the seriously injured man from the wreckage of the accident. “The strenuous part of the operation was unloading the truck and recovering it,” the fire brigade said.
The rescue operation took the seriously injured person to the UKH Klagenfurt.
