Wild scenes took place in the Tyrolean Sölden (Imst district) on Wednesday evening: a 28-year-old German was knocked down by an unknown person during a massive brawl. He tripped over the edge of a sidewalk, hit the back of his head on the asphalt and was unconscious for a short time. The perpetrator fled.
Around 11:40 PM, several people got into an argument for unknown reasons in the bar “Marco’s Treff” in Sölden. The fight ended fatally for a 28-year-old. “An unknown person punched him in the face, causing the man to trip over the edge of the sidewalk,” police said.
Taken to hospital with serious head injuries
Unfortunately, the German hit the back of his head on the asphalt and was left unconscious. “The man suffered serious head injuries,” investigators said. The previously unknown perpetrator fled immediately after the crime. Passers-by present provided first aid and started the rescue chain. After receiving first aid, the man was taken to the clinic in Innsbruck by emergency services.
