The Gipuzkoa farmers will take their tractors to the General Meetings next Friday in the first major mobilization supported by the main agricultural organizations of the area EHNE and ENBAtogether with numerous associations, agents and companies from the sector.
Gipuzkoa already suffered a tractor-trailer attack on February 12, when dozens of rural vehicles caused traffic problems on several roads such as the NI and N-634, although farmers and ranchers then organized through social networks and outside union organizations.
For their part, EHNE and ENBA of Gipuzkoa announced the start of their own calendar of mobilizations, which will start this Friday with a protest that will consist of two parts.
They will leave early in the morning three caravans with tractors from different points of the area that, after meeting in the shopping centers of Garbera (San Sebastián) and Urbil (Usurbil), and at the Petromiralles gas station in Andoain, will go to San Sebastián to first visit the city center and then go to the headquarters of the General Meetings in Miramón.
At this point the protest will end with a meeting and the reading of a manifesto by the organizers, who will then meet with the President of the Juntas, Xabier Ezeizabarrenaand the representatives of the various Juntero groups to convey their demands.
