Large-scale operation in Gratwein-Straßengel: An 18-year-old motorist drove her vehicle off the road on Saturday night and fell about 100 meters down a slope. The driver and four occupants of the car suffered minor injuries.
The 18-year-old was driving a car on the municipal road from Plesch towards Rein around 2 a.m. In the Kehr and Plesch district, she may have missed a right turn due to poor visibility and left the road. The vehicle fell approximately 100 meters down a slope. The driver and her four passengers aged 17 and 18 – all from the Graz region – were able to free themselves from the vehicle and climb up the embankment.
Five people slightly injured
They were taken to hospital by emergency services with minor injuries. The car was recovered by the fire brigades of Gratwein and Eisbach-Rein.
