In the middle of morning traffic, a serious accident occurred on Mariatroster Straße in Graz around 8 a.m. on Tuesday. The driver of a regional bus, who was driving his vehicle into the city, suffered a medical emergency and lost control of the bus.
Pedestrian struck and trapped
The man hit a man walking on the sidewalk and then crashed into a storefront. Two other vehicles were also involved in the accident.
Pedestrian responded
The pedestrian was trapped and had to be freed by the Graz fire brigade using a spreader. He responded quickly and was immediately treated by the emergency doctor and a Red Cross team.
