An oncoming driver saw a light shining in the field, after which he turned around and found the motorcyclist who had had an accident in the field. “The 56-year-old suffered serious injuries, was taken by ambulance to the clinic in Innsbruck and is receiving intensive care,” the researchers explain. The motorcycle was a total loss. The B171 was only passable in two directions for about an hour. Further investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
