Sad end to a drunken party night in Linz: A 34-year-old from Feldkirchen fell about three meters into the depths over a railing on Sunday night. He must have landed so badly that even the emergency doctor who arrived quickly couldn’t save him.
The 34-year-old is said to have celebrated in the Linzer Passage and left the restaurant at 3 a.m. on Sunday, possibly to smoke. Witnesses saw him then lean precariously over a railing outside the building. He probably lost his balance and fell about three meters into the depths.
Serious head injury
The reveler suffered serious head injuries in the collision, passers-by immediately rushed to his aid and set the rescue chain in motion. The emergency doctor performed resuscitation measures until they arrived at the Linz accident hospital, but the injuries were probably too serious.
The 34-year-old died shortly after arriving at the hospital.
