On Tuesday morning, a 27-year-old Tunisian citizen living in the Leoben neighborhood resisted arrest. Two police officers were injured.
Around 8 a.m., police officers from the Leoben Immigration and Border Police arrested the 27-year-old Tunisian on orders from the Federal Office for Immigration and Asylum. The man resisted the official action and injured two police officers. Due to his aggressive behavior, the police placed the 27-year-old in handcuffs and ankle cuffs. This did not stop him from hitting his head on the side window of the company car during transport to the police station. The Tunisian jumped out of the vehicle and tried to escape. But he was immediately brought back under control.
At the police station, the 27-year-old still did not calm down and destroyed the equipment in the detention room. He was transferred to the Graz police detention center for further detention.
The man is accused of numerous crimes.
