On the Tauern Autobahn – 235 km/h! Speedsters on the road with stolen bars

Date:

The maximum permitted speed on this section of the Tauernautobahn (A10) is 100 km/h, but an inveterate driver drove at a speed of no less than 235 km/h near Salzburg-Süd. The whole thing happened on February 15 – only now was the speeder tracked down…

The radar measurement took place shortly before 1 a.m. on February 15. During the evaluation, officers discovered that the license plates of the speeding car had already been reported stolen in October of the previous year.

Send known
A few days ago the vehicle was finally found in an underground parking garage in St. Johann. The driver, a 21-year-old from Pongau, quickly confessed. He admitted that he did not get a license plate for his car and therefore stole the plates.

Escape the civilian police patrol
He committed the speeding violation because he thought a civilian police patrol was following him. After noticing that the radar measurement was activated, he threw the stolen license plates into the Salzach and then parked the car in the underground parking garage. There are several advertisements waiting for him.
