Six dead in Spain – truck ran over people during traffic control

Six people were killed in a truck near Seville in southern Spain. Three other people were seriously injured in the accident. According to Spanish police, the driver was driving at high speed.

The dead included four civilians and two police officers. The driver of the truck himself was uninjured and was arrested. The authorities are currently assuming an accident that may have been caused by fatigue. The man had already tested negative for alcohol and drugs, it was said.

The accident happened on Tuesday morning on the AP-4 highway, not far from Seville in southern Spain, during a traffic control. Six people were killed and three others seriously injured. Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez expressed his solidarity with the families of the victims on Platform X.
