The son and his friends – all between the ages of 13 and 14 – allegedly attacked his 48-year-old father in the middle of Meidlinger Hauptstrasse. After passers-by noticed a suspected firearm, the police managed to stop those involved.
The 13-year-old had an empty gun
An empty pistol was immediately discovered and confiscated from a 13-year-old. Neither the father nor the son could provide officials with precise information about the incident. The statements of the two differ on the question of who threatened whom with the firearm and on the reason for the argument.
“The 48-year-old said his son stole from him. “The 14-year-old again accused his father of hitting him,” police announced Thursday. Both have received a complaint. In addition, an entry and approach ban and a temporary weapons ban were issued against the father.
