An alcoholic driver has endangered the lives of several people in Klagenfurt. On Thursday evening, the man drove his car from the parking lot of a bar into Siebenhügelstrasse. He almost overlooked a 35-year-old driver. He stopped abruptly at an intersection, causing a rear-end collision with the 35-year-old’s car. Without stopping, the driver continued driving and the next accident occurred. In Troyerstrasse he crashed into the car of an 18-year-old and just a few minutes later into the car of a 26-year-old.
Lenker would remember nothing
Because road users could remember the license plate number, it was not difficult for the police to locate the driver of the accident. He was found at home and said he remembered nothing. However, an alcohol test showed that he was seriously intoxicated. His driver’s license was immediately confiscated. Fortunately, no one was injured in the accidents.
